Yes. In fact, the secret to a delicious chicken thigh steak, also known as broiler thigh, is focusing on what matters most: three spices that - in this combination - optimally enhance the chicken flavor. Add the perfect amount of salt - and the sensation is complete.

When our chef first stood with the food truck at a Rostock weekly market, someone came up with a chicken thigh (with skin and boneless) and asked to grill the meat. It's important to know that SCHETTLER's food truck is equipped with a charcoal grill, making grilled food taste especially delicious.
But what to season it with? On the truck, the chef only had salt, paprika, caraway, and marjoram. All things that can taste good on grilled chicken. But that this mixture became such a hit, that was surprising - and has since been the standard mixture for all food truck operations with broiler thighs.

Now the mixture is also available for you at home. It's very well suited as a rub, but also as a sprinkle spice.
Chef's tip: Take a chicken thigh (with skin, boneless), place the pieces skin-side down on the hot grill and add a good tablespoon of our spice blend to each steak. Let the meat grill for about 10 minutes. Then turn it over and add another tablespoon to each steak. If your grill has a lid, place the meat in indirect heat, close the lid, and let the meat cook for another 10 minutes.
