A small wine region with robust specialties: the Corbières in southwestern France. Here, this magnificent wine matures, a single-varietal Carignan from a vineyard over 100 years old. Aged for six months in barriques, traditional craftsmanship by the "militant winemaker" Pierre Cros.
Warm, soft, red fruit, 14.5% alcohol, at room temperature with braised meats - or simply with traditional music from a record.
